This system has been removed from a facility where it was surplus to requirement.

The MECA 2000 system is a Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) platform used for ultra-high vacuum thin film deposition and materials research. Systems of this type are typically configured with multiple vacuum chambers, deposition sources, manipulators, and integrated control electronics.

Overall the system is in good cosmetic condition for its age, with a large quantity of supporting equipment, controllers, pumps, and vacuum hardware included. Due to the complexity of the setup and decommissioned status, the system has not been tested by ourselves.

The previous owner stated the system was full operational prior to removal.
