This Precision Nanosystems NanoAssemblr Benchtop System V1.5 was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
We had a service engineer look at the unit. They reported the following;
The instrument powers on and communicates with the Laptop using a USB cable and Nano Assembler software. The heating controller is working fine and they set the temperature to 37.5C without any issues. The heating block got warm and the temperature of it reaches 37.5 C which was in agreement with their digital thermometer.
When running the test the liquid (De-ionised water) ran from the syringe to the micro-channel and to the second syringe without any issue.
As far as we can test this instrument without lipids, it's in full working order.
The system is in excellent cosmetic condition with only minor marks from use.
