This listing is sold on the basis that you, the buyer, are operating as a dealer of used equipment in line with definitions of Section 6 of the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974. You therefore accept that these items are sold to you for refurbishment and onward sale, and therefore have not been made safe for putting into use, or supplied with any instructions for use by us.
You accept that these items must either be used strictly for parts or you confirm that you will carry out such tests and inspections to ensure the product confirms to all current legislation prior to use or onward sale, such as the EU Directive on Machinery, the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations (2016), the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994, and any other applicable regulations.
We make no guarantees or warranties that these items confirm to any current legislative standards. The items have not been PAT or electrical safety tested by us, and may also be missing or have defective safety features such as pressure release valves, emergency stop buttons and other critical safety features.
If you, the buyer, are not a dealer of used goods and you are a private user then you must contact us in advance of sale. Once we are made aware that you are a private user, we can carry out a risk assessment as to whether this is a suitable purchase for a private user and what legislation may apply including consumer legislation.
