IP5X / IP6X Dust Test Chamber, 1000L

This system is being offered for sale on behalf of a client due to being surplus to ongoing requirements at The National Robotarium, Edinburgh.

The unit is an IP5X / IP6X dust chamber with a 1000L test volume, intended for dust ingress testing of products and assemblies under controlled conditions. Equipment of this type is commonly used for environmental simulation and ingress protection testing where repeatable exposure to circulating dust is required for product development, qualification and compliance work.

According to the client, the chamber is in very good used condition and close to new in appearance and working order. It was rarely used between 2022 and 2026, with fewer than 20 recorded uses, and no issues or faults logged. The client has advised that the chamber has not been recalibrated since original purchase, however no loss of calibration has been identified. Routine internal maintenance and periodic quick runs every two weeks were reportedly carried out in accordance with the user manual. No external maintenance record is available.

No further testing has been carried out by us.
