Specac 15.011 Hydraulic 15 Ton Press Lab Pellet Press Spares or Repairs
This item was removed from a university where it was surplus to requirement.
It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition.
The crank handle needs a new roll pin, a nail was temporarily used to secure it.
The press worked well at 8 tons with a bolt between the anvils, no testing was carried out above this limit.
The press has an adjustable valve to limit the force below 8 tons, the gauge fell slowly after stopping, indicating a likely internal seal leak.
Due to the working conditions stated above, this item is listed as Spares/Repair.
