Nikon Diaphot-TDM Inverted Phase Contrast Fluorescence Microscope

This item was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The microscope was serviced but discovered to be faulty.

• Microscope incomplete and in need of repairs.

• Transmitted light does not work – bulb holder missing.

• Bertrand lens stuck – requires repair.

• Fluorescence is fitted.

• 1 filter cube fitted – B-2A.

• Prism block for port selection stuck – simple repair.

• Stage stiff – requires refurbishment.

• Condenser carriage stuck – requires refurbishment.

• No evidence of internal salt corrosion.

• No mercury lamp is present in the lamphouse.

• 1 adjustment screw broken on lamp holder – requires replacement.

• Incorrect eyepieces fitted.
