Description
This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
This SEM was acquired and installed in 2007, it is a high-resolution microscope which operates in conventional high vacuum and low vacuum modes. Low vacuum mode allows the observation of non-conducting, uncoated samples. It also has a Gatan Alto 2100 Cryo System for cryo-fixed samples and freeze-fracture work.
The lab confirmed that the microscope is fully functional (including the cryo-set up).
