Description
This Lansing Bagnall Ltd FOEP 1.1/1.4 Pedestrian Operated Electric Forklift is being sold on the behalf of a university.
Reportedly the unit was in good working order until the battery was replaced by a forklift supplier. Unfortunately, they did not replace the battery with one of the same mass, it, in fact, weighed less. The load rating plate on the truck, therefore, needs to be recalculated or reassessed before it is used again. The current plate is not accurate.
For this reason, the department is not using it and instead have bought another machine.
Overall the truck is in reasonably good cosmetic condition with the usual signs of use for a truck of this age.
Unit must be collected from Birmingham area, monday to friday 09:00-16:00 (and pre-arranged). You must have a suitable vehicle like a low-loader.
We will require any buyer to sign a disclaimer that they are aware of the battery mass difference and that the unit must not be used until the plate is rectified.
Delivery
For collection only. Collections must be during our working hours (08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday). If you require packing and palletising for your collection, please contact us in advance for a price.
