This system was removed from a university engineering lab as surplus to requirements.
The system was removed from service as it was no longer required. However, it has been decommissioned for some time, and some of the parts appear to have degraded a little. The upper jaws do not stay open, they close slower and we believe the gearing for the lever needs to be re-tightened.
We have not been able to test the system, and would expect that it requires some replacement parts or some refurbishment prior to being suitable for us. The control unit does power up but we haven't tested anything further.
The unit is also approx 275cm tall, so direct transport will need to be considered - please enquire for a quote.
Delivery
For collection only. Collections must be during our working hours (08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday). If you require packing and palletising for your collection, please contact us in advance for a price.
