Description
This Applied Biosystems AB 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR System with Dell PC & Software was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up and has been connected to the PC.
The PC is a Dell Optiplex PC with a monitor, keyboard & Mouse with Life Version 2.3 7500 software installed on it. The machine also has a fresh install of Windows 7.
The system consists of:
1 x AB 7500 fast unit.
1 x Dell Optiplex 7010 PC with monitor, mouse & keyboard.
The 7500 has passed the following function tests:
USB
CCD
Filter Wheel
Shutter
Lamp
Thermal Cycler
All tests passed.
The lamp condition is described as 'good'. It has 119 hours of usage and the current is 5.651amps. It is reported as being replaced 02/13/2006.
The unit has not been calibrated as it requires an Applied Biosystems real-time PCR system spectral calibration kit
