MSE Sanyo Harrier 18/80 Refrigerated Centrifuge With MSE 43124-141 6000rpm Rotor
This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers on and spins up. The rotor it is fitted with is rated for 6000rpm but the centrifuge will do up to 18000rpm fitted with a higher rated rotor.
The refrigeration works well. It reached -9C, which is its max cold temperature really quickly. It also allows you to set it up to 40C. We set it to 37C and it took nearly a whole day to get to 28C. We are not however sure if heating is an intended feature of this machine.
There is a rotor number of B01R8503 on the side of the unit, but it doesn't seem to match the number of the rotor fitted, which is 43124-141.
Cosmetically it is in reasonably good, used condition.
