Description
Heraeus Megafuge 1.0R Centrifuge with 5000rpm Rotor
This was removed from a university lab during a clearout.
The unit powers up and was tested to the max of 4000rpm. It seems to work as it should.
We ran it a 0ºC for quite a while without any issues. We also ran it at 20ºC & 37ºC. It reached all the temps fine.
It is in reasonably good condition but has some marks from use.
The rotor is a Heraeus #2704 with 4 buckets:
2 x Sorval Heraeus #6447 G Alternative Rotor Selection #7586 B 2102 F 414 & Rubber Pads 20056846.
2 x Heraeus #7570 E & adaptors with holes 17mm in diameter & 85.5 mm Deep.
