This Varian CP-3800/3380 Gas Chromatograph GC System & Model 8400 Autosampler was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The information plate suggests this system was built in 2004.
The GC powered on and completed self-calibration with no issues. The oven was tested at 200C and measured at that with our digital thermometer (thermometer not included in the sale). The autosampler also powered on with the main unit and went through self-calibration. It was not tested further.
It is in good condition with only minor marks from use.
