Description
This Thermo Scientific Varioskan LUX Multimode Microplate Reader was removed from a university lab.
The lab was affected by a fire, and powder from a fire extinguisher was used to put out the fire. Unfortunately, this instrument was affected.
Reportedly the instrument was cleaned inside and out and worked for a while and was in regular use afterwards, but then started showing a start-up error.
The unit powers up and the tray ejects. We tried it with a new lamp (Not included) but this did not resolve the issues.
Externally, the unit is in very good cosmetic condition with only minor marks of age and usage.
It is sold for spares/repairs due to the problems.
