This Ex-Military Communications Trailer Unit was removed from a university store where it had been standing for a number of years.

There is a substantial amount of old HF radio equipment including a complete 9 meter HF radio mast, old telecom units, old recording equipment and old computer equipment and a host of spare parts. We also found an old Polaroid instant military-grade camera inside the cupboard.

It is wired for a 240V electrical hook up via a 32amp plug. We have connected it to the mains power. The lighting,heating, ventilation and some of the radio equipment all powered up. There is a full RCD/RCB consumer unit, heaters, lighting, ventilation units and 13amp sockets installed. No hookup cable is supplied. We would strongly recommend an electrician inspects the full installation.

There are handbooks and other documents relating to the unit.

This is a unique piece of equipment dating from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s.

The unit is in remarkable good condition for its age. The paintwork and military markings are all original. The identification plates are all present as well. The interior seems to be all original and untouched.

The stabilizer legs all wind up and down with no problems. The tyres hold air but they are perished after sitting in the open for many years. The spare wheel is brand new and was stored inside the unit so it is serviceable.

The brakes have all been freed off but do require mechanical attention. Again, due to it standing for so long. It is movable for being put onto a transporter but it cannot be towed in its current condition.
