Description
This Thermo Scientific Sorvall RC 6+ Centrifuge w/ SS-34 25000RPM Rotor was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up and has been tested. We have fitted the crown with 4 new pins as the originals were bent. It has been tested with an SS34 rotor at 10,000 & 20,000rpm. The unit appears to run as it should. It seems to cool down when running without issue.
There is a 25000RPM rated Sorvall SS-34 Rotor included with a capacity of 8 x 50mL. The max speed rating of the centrifuge itself is 22000rpm
Everything is in reasonably good condition but there is some damage to the body of the centrifuge on one of the side panels. This does appear to be purely cosmetic.
