Description

This Electrothermal ME 466. 100/150ml Heating Mantle was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit powers up and all the mantles have been tested with a digital thermometer. They all seem to be in working order apart from the fourth on the right. Below are the results of the testing.

All mantles set to "2".

Mantle 1 - 85˚C

Mantle 2 - 69˚C

Mantle 3 - 78˚C

Mantle 4 - 24˚C

Mantle 5 - 104˚C

Mantle 6 - 62.9˚C

Set to "6"

Mantle 1 - 145˚C

Mantle 2 - 95.6˚C

Mantle 3 - 148.8˚C

Mantle 4 - 23˚C

Mantle 5 - 184.2˚C

Mantle 6 - 86.7˚C

Set to 10/max.

Mantle 1 - 197.9˚C

Mantle 2 - 102.5˚C

Mantle 3 - 186.6˚C

Mantle 4 - 34.4˚C

Mantle 5 - 317.6˚C

Mantle 6 - 190.3˚C

It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but has some marks from use.
