Description
This Superscopes Explorer 1200 Fibreglass Telescope Body was removed from a university where it was surplus to requirements. We believe this is around 1980s age.
Included are two parts of a fibreglass telescope body. They are in reasonable used cosmetic condition.
The larger diameter part has had a rectangular hole cut into it at some point. The smaller section is fitted with a mirror at one end. it also comes with 2 x 169cm Moonraker Telescopic poles.169cm is the poles set at their shortest. One is missing the plastic stopper from its bottom.
The smaller section measures:
138cm H.
35.5cm diameter.
The larger section measures:
170cm H.
49.5cm diameter.
The measured diameter is of the actual cylinder and not the metal hardware that is attached to the cylinder.
