This AID Elispot ELR02 Plate Reader System with PC & Software was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit is in good cosmetic condition but does have some marks from use. The plastic shielding from the firewire cable is missing but this doesn't affect its operation. It is also easily replacable.

We have connected the ELR02 to the PC and the PC does control the ELR02 via the reader software. We are unable to test the system any further.

The system consists of:

1 x AID Elispot ELR02 Reader.

It comes with the serial/firewire cable.

The unit powers up fine and the plate moves when controlled via the PC software. The on/off switch appears to possibly have a lower clip broken. We have secured it from the rear with tape, so it no longer moves. This does not affect the operation of the unit. We suspect it is possibly a replacement switch, which is possibly why it doesn't fit 100% perfectly.

1 x Dell Optiplex 760 PC.

Ot comes with Dell Monitor, Mouse and Keyboard and also has the following software installed:

Elispot Version 5.0 (build 8684)

REST 2009 V2.0.13

Plus the usual standard Windows XP programs.

The PC has an upgraded graphics card fitted.

The PC has a Novell network login system installed. We have tried to remove this without any luck. It will log on to XP fine but it needs to be done via the Novell login screen. We cannot get the standard XP login to work. The password has been removed.
