Description
This Nikon Diaphot Phase Contrast Microscope was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements. The lab assured us it was in good working order when last used.
The unit powers up and the objectives are clear and the controls are smooth. There was no power supply for the lamp so we tested with a slide, but had to use an external light source (not included) to test the microscope.
The system was inspected by a service engineer. There is no visible corrosion, but it was deemed suitable for spares/repairs only.
It is in good cosmetic condition with some light marks from use.
