Description
This Centurion K2R Series Laboratory Centrifuge Model: K240R was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but there are some scratches on the exterior and lid. The lid requires a fair amount of pressure to lock shut. The interior has some stains on the rotor and the plastic on the Eurotherm Drives has a crack.
The centrifuge powers up and has been tested up to 38000rpm.
We also tested the temperature settings with a digital thermometer (not included).
We set it to the lowest temperature of -9˚C, the display reached -8˚C and our thermometer measured -4.6˚C.
We then set it to the max temperature of 40˚C. Our thermometer measured 36.1˚C.

Both types of adapters have a diameter of 69.55mm and a height of 9cm.
