Description
This Thermo Fisher Scientific 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up and has passed the following function tests:
USB
CCD
Filter Wheel
Shutter
Lamp
Thermal Cycler
All tests passed.
The PC is a Dell Optiplex PC with a monitor, keyboard & Mouse with Life Version 2.3 7500 software installed on it. The machine also has a fresh install of Windows 7.
The lamp condition is described as 'good'. It has 409 hours usage and the current is 5.532amps. It is reported as being replaced 10/20/2020.
The unit has not been calibrated as it requires an Applied Biosystems real-time PCR system spectral calibration kit
