Description
This PE Applied Biosystems GeneAmp PCR System 9700 Thermal Cycler was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The item is in good cosmetic condition but there are some minor signs of use. The F1 button has broken off, but it still functions.
The item powered on without issue but the lab informed us that it has not been calibrated.
We tested it with a digital thermometer (not included)
When set to 37˚C the thermometer measured 40.9˚C
When set to 99˚C the thermometer measured 101.0˚C
It was not tested further.
