Description
This Eppendorf Refrigerated Laboratory Centrifuge 5804-R was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements
The unit has had a replacement actuator and gas strut fitted by a service engineer who then fully tested the unit.
Speed tested to 3600rpm (rotor not included).
It was then temperature tested with a digital thermometer (not included)
37ºC our thermometer showed 34ºC.
4ºC our thermometer showed 1.0ºC.
-9ºC(min) our thermometer showed -5.0ºC.
We would suggest that it was the probe placement that caused the temp readings to be a bit inaccurate.
