Description
This Labtech G-Storm Thermal Cycler Model - GS0002M was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit has 2 X 96 well blocks for 0.2ml tubes.
It powers on and has been tested with a digital thermometer (not included).
Left block:-
When set to 37˚c the thermometer read 36.4˚c.
We then set it to the max temp of 99˚c and the thermometer read 97.1˚c
Finally set to the minimum temp of 4˚c and it cooled down fast, the thermometer read 5˚c.
Right block:-
When set to 37˚c the thermometer read 36.7˚c
We then set it to the max temp of 99˚c and the thermometer read 97.9˚c
Finally set to the minimum temp of 4˚c and it cooled down fast, the thermometer read 4.7˚c.
It all appears to be working well.
It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition with marks from use.
