Description
This system was removed from a university materials testing lab where it was surplus to requirements. The unit is fitted with a 25kN load cell.
The system was reportedly in good working order prior to removal from the facility, as was the cooling pump and electronics. At our site, we have not tested the system, but it does look in excellent condition.
During the removal process, because the system is far taller than the room in which it was assembled in, our team disassembled the system with the assistance of the universities engineers, lowered it flat using our gantry crane, and removed it from the building.
During this process, several hydraulic lines had to be disconnected and drained and the system as a whole disassembled. Therefore, it will require reassembly and recommissioning by an engineer.
There is a PC included which has Workshop 96 software, also known as Workshop 9600. Tools in this software package include Cycle Generator, Oscilloscope, Vload control, Vstroke, Limits Control plus more.
