Description
This HP BLc7000 Blade Chassis BLc BL c7000 507019-B21 Enclosure was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The item is in reasonable cosmetic condition but there are some scratches on the top and sides.
The university removed all the hard drives from the server - this may contribute to the error messages below, but we have not installed new drives, so we are unable to tell for sure. They reported that they left the controllers with the unit.
The item powered on without issue. The enclosure issue regarded its health status as 'Degraded'. Its health report initially reported 10 errors as not all of the ports were powered on.
We managed to power up 4/6 ports with IEC C19 cables and the errors went down to 3. We swapped the positions of the 4 C19 to supply power to the different ports.
All hard drives have been removed.
