The unit is in good used cosmetic condition but it does have some marks and signs of use.

It powers up fine and we have been through a few of the menus and they all work as they should. We were unable to test further as it requires a gas supply etc. We were told by the lab manager that it needed additional parts to make it operational, though we are unsure what exactly the fault is.

It comes with a touch pen.

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit powers up but when we tried to connect it to a PC with software we had some issues. (Software not included).

We installed software on a test PC and it did seem to connect to the RG3000, but it is stating that there is a Fatal Hardware Malfunction. The machine can't be used until the distributor has service it. After starting it again we got another error: Thermistor is Open.

We have removed the casing to check inside the unit and cannot find any obvious issues.

There is an LCD panel inside that is showing 'TEMP OVER 140/127.5/2.1/152.0'. This displays as soon as the unit is switched on, so it looks like there is some sort of temperature error happening. There are 4 x PTC EPCOS C810 Thermistors in the power supply section of the unit. It's possible that there is a fault with at least one of those.

It is in otherwise reasonable cosmetic condition with marks from use, but is sold for spares/repairs

The item holds up to 72 x 0.1ml strip tubes.

The lighting system is functional, although 1 of the 16 bulbs and 2 of the 16 strip lights do not work.

Although it successfully reaches and maintains higher set temperatures accurately (tested up to 50˚C), it encounters issues with cooling. It fails to cool to the set lower temperature of 0˚C, instead increasing to 32˚C. During this malfunction, it displays an error "E01 Temp Input Error On Temp Input" and subsequently shuts down the fans and compressor.
