This Forma Scientific -86C Ultra Low Temperature Laboratory Freezer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements. It was still in use just before we collected it.
We powered the unit up with no worries and we tested the temperature with a digital thermometer (not included).
The thermometer read -70c and the unit showed -80c.
The internal has four doored compartments each 58 (L) x 64 (W) x 30 (H) cms.
The overall internal size is 58 (L) x 64 (W) x 130 (H) cms.
It is mounted on heavy-duty castors that are multi-directional with brake locks.
The unit is in good condition with very minor marks. There is a small indentation on the interior of the door. This doesn't affect the running of the unit.

The unit is in good cosmetic condition but as it is a used item it will have marks and scuffs.
It comes with a set of 6 racks and a trolley.
We were assured this unit was in good working order and held vacuum. However we do not have a supply of nitrogen at our site so we have not tested it ourselves.
If there is any problem we can certainly offer a full refund in exchange of return of the item, and within the UK we will arrange pickup as long as you can put the unit back onto the pallet.
However we cannot reimburse lost nitrogen costs or sample loss etc.
