The unit does not power up. We have tested the continuity and found no issues, but we are unable to find the cause of the issue. The power supply for the lamp is a visual PAT test fail due to exposed wires and also does not power the lamp.

However, the front dial is stuck and cannot be moved. Additionally, two of the objectives could not be removed for detailed photographs, though one was successfully detached. The microscope shows reasonable cosmetic wear consistent with prior use.

This Nikon Microphot-FXA Fluorescence Microscope was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The PSU is missing so we were unable to power up the Microscope. It requires a Nikon PSM-4A. The power supply unit for the mercury lamp is present. The PSU is working but the bulb needs to be replaced.

The system is in reasonably good cosmetic condition with marks from use.

It has;

2x Nikon FX-350X 35mm film cameras attached via Nikon mounts.

1 x SOFT RTS 25.4 2mp slider with data lead.
