The system is fitted with a 400mw laser.

The instrument is functioning fine and can run samples smoothly.

Failed PMT Dark Count (Photon Counting) - Failed due to high thermal electron current in the PMT due to high voltage in this mode. This will not affect the functionality of the instrument.

Passed PMT Dark (Charge Integration) and LED Control.

Server Busy message - This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose ‘Switch to’ to activate the busy program and correct the problem.

It is in very good cosmetic condition with only minor marks from use.

LEICA EM-AFS Low Temperature Embedding System

This system was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

The system powers on and is in good cosmetic condition with no visible signs of damage. The LCD screen and buttons are operational on the main unit. All parts are securely mounted to a dewar measuring approximately 46 x 46 x 60 cm (excluding wheels).

We are unable to test the system further at our facility.

The system comprises the following:

Leica EM-AFS Embedding System (Type: 702701, Serial No.: 518928) – Powers on, LCD screen and controls responsive.
Leica Control Unit (Type: 655601) – Powers on.
Leica EMUV (Type: 702727) – Powers on, UV light activates when unit is placed face down into chamber. Activation is confirmed by an LED on the control unit; an audible alarm sounds if the EMUV is removed while active.
