Set at 4ºC our thermometer read 4ºC

Set at -10ºC our thermometer read -4.8ºC

The unit had been running for a number of hours and settled at -4.8ºC

Set at 22ºC our thermometer read 22.9ºC

Set at 30ºC our thermometer read 30.9ºC

The unit is lockable however there is no key supplied with this unit. I recommend a replacement barrel and key.

The incubators are stacked and secured with a bracket. Both power up and have been tested with 5% CO2 and a digital thermometer (not included).

Both units are in good condition with various minor marks from general use.

The top unit only has two shelves.

The bottom has all three.

The unit powers on and is in good cosmetic condition. There are some light tape marks around the unit from general use.

Tested with 5% CO2, our testing has confirmed CO2 is functional.

Temperature testing:

Set temp at 18ºC our thermometer read 17.1ºC (units internal thermometer 18ºC)

Set temp at 37ºC our thermometer read 37.4ºC (units internal thermometer 37ºC

Set temp at 55ºC our thermometer read 55.4ºC (units internal thermometer 54.3ºC)

The item is in reasonable cosmetic condition. There are stains and scratches on the surface. The interior is very clean and without blemishes.

Tested with 5% CO2, our testing has confirmed CO2 is functional.

When was set to 18˚C, the display showed 18.6˚C and the thermometer measured 18.3˚C

When set to 37˚C, the display showed 37˚C and the thermometer measured 36.8˚C

When set to 55˚C, the display showed 54.7˚C and the thermometer measured 54.6˚C

This Bellco Biotechnology Single Window Roll-In Incubator was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

It was set to 37˚C but tested in quite warm environment and it reached 32˚C. We did a separate experiment inside a colder room and it didn't get as high. It seems to have issues with insulation. The temperature of the room seemingly affects the temperature it will achieve inside.

Temp Range: Ambient +9˚c to 50˚c.

Interior Dimensions: W 89cm x D 66cm x H 193cm.

It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but has some marks from use.

The unit powers up but has issues with temperature regulation which leads us to believe the temperature sensor is faulty. The CO2 sensor seems to work well.

The UV light was blinking which means that the UV lamp needs replacing.
