Infors Multitron HT Triple Stack Incubator

This incubator system was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

The units are in good used cosmetic condition with signs of general use. It has several operational issues affecting its performance:

Top Unit:

Cooling system and blower heater are faulty.
Temperature settings are inaccurate:
Set to 1.0ºC, read 9.8ºC.
Set to 37ºC, initially correct but now fails to heat.
Set to 65ºC (Max), unable to maintain temperature; reads as faulty.
Shaker speed sensor is faulty, limiting operation to a maximum of 400rpm.

Middle Unit:

The unit powers up and was successfully temperature tested, displaying accurate readings when set to 37ºc & 65ºc (MAX).
Shaker speed sensor issues cause erratic operation without displaying current speed.

Bottom Unit:

The unit powers up and was successfully temperature tested, displaying accurate readings when set to 37ºc & 65ºc (MAX).
Shaker functions up to 230rpm smoothly; above this, it becomes erratic and displays errors.

Given the multitude of issues, particularly with the cooling systems, heaters, and shaker speed sensors across all units, this triple stack incubator is listed for spares or repairs.

This setup may require significant repairs, or could be used for parts by those capable of addressing these extensive technical issues.

It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition and powers on; however, during testing it took approximately 5 hours to reach 37°C, with a maximum recorded temperature of 57°C despite being set to 60°C.

Internally, it houses a Wheaton Modular Cell Production Roller Apparatus Model 3. The roller mechanism powers on, but the rollers moved very slowly during testing. The speed control dial is missing, and manually adjusting the underlying nut did not improve the speed.

Due to the above issues, this item is listed as Spares/Repair.
