The unit powers up and has been tested with a digital thermometer (not included). It was set to 37˚C but only reached 31˚C. The display would keep reverting to 22.2˚C as well. There was a note from the lab stating that it had some heating issues.

The shaker speed ran up to 160rpm. We tried setting it to the max of 300 but it wouldn't run at that.

It also appears to have a battery error. There is a battery soldered to the main board, it probably needs replacing. The unit shows an error 4 code when first switched on but if you press stop the code goes away, and the unit starts up normally.

The error relates to a discharged battery.

The unit is in otherwise full working condition and is in good cosmetic condition with just the marks from the repairs.
