This item was removed from a university where it was surplus to requirement.

It is in good cosmetic condition externally, we are unable to power it on or test it further as the power supply is not included.

The lab confirmed the bleach had been run through it and it has corroded inside. A number of parts have been replaced in an attempt to save it, including the flow cell, but ultimately it was written off, however, it may still be fixable or useful for the valuable parts inside.

It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition, we are unable to test it at our facility as it was originally hardwired.

Additionally, the previous owner stated

The previous owner advised that the unit is a Plasma Therm 790 (S/N: PTI-78299-F) and has been out of service for some time.

They confirmed that the lower cover was removed in order to safely purge process gases prior to disconnection; this panel has been set aside and is intended to be refitted. A chiller unit is located beneath the computer, reportedly associated with a PECVD system, although its inclusion in this sale has not been confirmed.

The seller further stated that the system is nearing end-of-life, operating intermittently, and required multiple attempts to successfully complete the gas purge procedure prior to removal.
