The fan uses the same voltage as the lamp and is also not working, so there is an electrical fault at play here. The microplate incubator and tray eject functions are working.

We don’t know exactly when the magnetic separator was last used, but it would have been at least 5 years ago. As far as we know there were no issues with it when it was still in use.

The unit is in good condition considering its age, though it may be missing some unknown small parts.
