The item powers on and is in reasonably good cosmetic condition with minor marks from use.

The rotor ran smoothly up to 4600rpm. It was tested with a digital thermometer (not included).

When set to 4˚c, the thermometer also read 4˚c

When set to -9˚c, the thermometer read -8.4˚c

This ALC Multispeed Refrigerated Centrifuge PK 121 R was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit is in reasonable cosmetic condition but has been previously used. The start button is damaged but still works.

The unit powers on and has been tested. It spins up to 4100rpm, but the rotor is rated at 4300rpm. When set to its lowest which is -10 degrees it got down as low as -12. When set to its max which is 40 degrees it displayed 39 and was at 37.

The Rotor number displayed T515.

The Buckets Serial number is 0306/01.

The buckets Cat Number is 11210335.

The number on the bottom of the buckets is Ch. 007027 S.303.

The bucket adaptors inside the buckets were numbered ALC R2035 & the Cat Number is 11172435.

The ALC 2035 Adapter is for 50ml tubes.

This Beckman Microfuge 22R Refrigerated Centrifuge was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

This unit came out of a working laboratory where it was in use until recently. The unit is in very good condition with very few marks.

We powered the unit on with no issues and it worked at 14000 rpm smoothly. The display screen is in very good condition with clear figures. There is a slight squeal when running. It has been fully temperature tested and is in working order.

The rotor is a F241.5P with 24x2 mL / 11x39 mm(24x2 mL / 0x2 in) tube apertures angled at 45 degrees. The plastic lid fits securely and has no damage.

Beckman J2-21 Floor Standing Centrifuge 20000rpm Max Lab

This Beckman J2-21 Floor Standing Centrifuge was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

We have replaced the lid and repaired an area of cracked plastic underneath it. It is very stable. There are some cracks around the gas strut area. They do not appear to affect the operation of the unit.

The unit is functional and has a comprehensive service history.

The centrifuge holds a vacuum well and has been tested at:

5,000rpm

10,000rpm

15,000rpm

20,000rpm (Max).

It ran fine at all these speeds but the needle isn't totally in sync with the control knob.

It has been tested at the following temperatures:

0ºC our thermometer read -15.8ºC

20ºC our thermometer read 21.2ºC

It appears to probably have a cooling issue. The compressor etc runs fine. It just appears to drop lower than it is set. When set to higher temps, it takes quite a while to heat up.

Beckman L8-60MR Ultracentrifuge

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit powers up and was tested with a Beckman 70.1 Ti rotor from another item (Not included), but would not reach over 3000rpm (Rotor max is 10000). We suspect there is a vacuum issue as the vacuum light flashed red during testing. The system also will not cool down.

It is in otherwise good cosmetic condition.
