We powered the unit on with no issues. The chiller worked to -20C showing -21.6C on our digital thermometer (not included).

The rotor fitted can take 24 tubes, and had a maximum speed of 2000rpm. It runs smoothly.

It is in very good condition with minor marks.

The unit has been tested and is in working order. The RPM could be set up to 6500 but the rotor would only run up to 4500rpm.

It was tested with a digital thermometer (not included).

When the temperature was set to 4˚c, the thermometer read 5˚c

When the temperature was set to -4˚c (minimum) the thermometer read -5˚c

There is a Rotor inside with 4 x Buckets and 2 x Yellow 50ml Adaptors.

It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but has some minor marks from use.

The item powers on with rotor speed running smoothly up to 3600rpm.

The temperature was first set to 4˚c which it reached quickly. The temperature was then set to its minimum setting of -20˚c. After an hour of running, the display read -14˚c but the thermometer was reading -20˚c.

The item is in a reasonable, used cosmetic condition with marks from use.

The centrifuge has been tested and runs well. The refrigeration/incubation was also tested with a digital thermometer (not included).

When set to 3ºC the needle aimed at 2ºC

When set to -10ºC the needle aimed at -5ºC

When set to 37ºC the needle aimed at 32ºC
