This system was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

It is in good cosmetic condition but cannot be tested on site due to restrictions involving Class 3+ lasers. The previous owner confirmed it was in full working order prior to removal.

The customer noted that the Bionano Access software is free to download and that data is stored within the Access platform rather than on the system itself. Consumables for this model will be available for purchase until the end of this year (2025), and Bionano will continue to support and service Generation 1 Saphyr Systems under warranty until December 31, 2026.
