The system powers on. However, no further functional testing has been carried out.
Please note; the SPD-20AV detector displays a red light with the message “254nm -0.00 AU Check no good.”
The included Sedere Sedex 90 ELSD detector powers on, but the internal glassware on the outlet pipe is broken.

This is a custom-built automated cohesion tester, previously used for field testing of coal materials. The system is designed to perform consolidation and uniaxial unconfined testing on coal samples.
The unit is fitted with a load cell rated at approximately 1–2 kN and includes a Siemens control unit with step controller. Please note; the control system requires programming and setup.
This system was originally built for the Coal Authority, with a limited number of similar units produced.
