This job lot of items comes from a university lab, The items were no longer required.

None of these items have been tested at our site - it is likely that some will be spares / repairs, but we anticipate that a reasonable amount should operate well.

None of these items have been PAT or electrical safety tested. For this reason we have marked these as spares/repairs as they should not be used without appropriate electrical safety checks.

They are sold as a spares/repairs bundle intended to be purchased by someone who has time to test and where necessary refurbish the unit. It is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to benefit for individual equipment resale.

This CIF Technodrill 2 CNC Drilling & Milling Prototype Machine was removed from a university engineering department where it was surplus to requirements.

The item is in very good cosmetic condition. The lab said the machine is old technology but they believe it has never been used, having been purchased for an abandoned project some time ago.

It powers up and is in working order.

It can be used for small-scale milling work, in particular, milling printed circuit board designs onto copper-clad FR4 board. It comes complete with a wheeled enclosure made from Aluminium T-slot/acrylic.

The item comes with Galaad 3 user manual, and Galaad 3 CAD-CAM-CNC software for windows as well as some unopened accessories.

Item is wired with EU plugs. An adaptor is needed.

The item powers on but displays the error code 'E1'. We referred to the manual which says this error displays when the system cuts power to prevent permanent damage if the liquid is low in level. We don't believe there is anything wrong with it.

It was not tested further.

The unit powers on and is in good cosmetic condition. The power light does not illuminate when switched on but we could hear it running. No PSU was supplied so we used a multi-adapter (not included).

The APC input and output ports are in good cosmetic condition. The control button moves freely.

This was removed from a university workshop where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit was confirmed as in working order with thermal (up to 130°C), IR and UV curing capabilities. It needs some maintenance and will likely need repair in the future.

The unit itself is 3m in length approximately 1.5m wide and 1.2m high and requires a three-phase electrical supply and ducted extraction to run.

Maintenance required – replace seals around oven lid and change UV bulb

Future repair – motors are in sealed (riveted) ducts and the bearings are worn and will need attention at some point.

There are no manuals included but the client has offered to demonstrate how to use it if required.
