This Micromass LCT TOF Mass Spectrometer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit powers up and is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks.

The lab reported that it was for spares or repairs but the fault is unknown. When we collected it, all the panels were removed, but we have fixed them back on.

The unit is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but has marks and stains and the pipe connecting to the inlet pressure valve has broken off. The top panel is loose.

The unit powered on without issue. It wouldn't recognise the disk and read it as 'bad missing'. We cannot boot it in the current format.

The instrument has been tested by a qualified service engineer. They found that the grating has environmental damage. All the lamps are fine, but the deuterium has slightly low energy. All calibration is fine apart from Photometric above 2A, likely due to the grating damage.

It is in otherwise full working order.

It is in good cosmetic condition with only minor marks from use.
