It is reported to be operational; however, user feedback indicated that cutting quality was unsatisfactory and the unit may require adjustment. Please note this is an older model and does not feature modern safety guards.

The centrifuge powers on and has passed a PAT test, but it is in poor overall cosmetic condition. The external casing shows significant wear, and the internal chamber displays areas of surface rust. The rotor buckets are heavily used and show notable signs of wear.

The unit was tested from a minimum of 300 rpm up to approximately 4600 rpm. As the centrifuge increased speed, the display began flickering, all indicator lights illuminated simultaneously, and the control buttons became unresponsive.

The unit is non-functioning due to a fault with the electronic control board. The gas strut is missing, and the IEC power inlet socket is loose and hanging from the rear of the unit.

For these reasons, the centrifuge is being sold as spares/repairs.

These items were removed from a facility where they were surplus to requirements.

All 36 monitors are supplied boxed. Within the boxes, some units remain in their original bubble/plastic wrapping, while others have been unwrapped. All units are in good cosmetic condition with minimal signs of handling.

The previous owner advised that the company that co-developed these PAM units is no longer in operation, making it difficult to return them to full working condition. They also noted that the sensors are likely too old for use in other scientific applications.

Due to this, the units are being sold for spares or repair.
