This JK Lasers Class 4 MS20 Laser was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit came to us with a warning notice on it saying it is strictly not to be used or powered up under any circumstances. We suspect the university was removing it from their facilities for H&S reasons.

It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but has some glue residue on the top of it and the wheels are stiff. There was also no key for the unit so we could not open the cabinet.

Lot contains:

1 x JK Lasers Class 4 MS20 Laser.

1 x Metal Plate.

1 x Shutter/Fire Switch.

1 x YAG Laser Flashlamp/Q-Switch Controller Glued Together.

This Applied Biosystems 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements. The lab assured us this system was in full working order prior to removal from the lab.

The unit no longer powers up as the PSU blew in testing.

The included PC has Applied Biosystems software on it and it connected with the PCR unit prior to the PSU blowing, but as there is no barcode reader and robot it did not initialise further than this.

It is in good cosmetic condition with only limited marks from use. Inside we found the keys to enable the laser.

There is an instrument log book and a serial cable included with it.

This Sanyo MCO-17A CO2 Laboratory Incubator was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

We powered the unit on with no issues and checked the temperatures with a digital thermometer (not included).

When set to 37˚C the display showed 39˚C and the thermometer measured 41˚C.

When set to 56˚C the display showed 56˚C and the thermometer measured 49.9˚C.

The unit has issues with CO2 regulation and is sold for spares/repairs.

Internal sizes are 49 (L) x 50(W) x 66(H) cm with three shelves.

The item is in very good condition with minor age and usage marks. The door handle is broken but it still operates and does not stop the unit from operating correctly.

The robot appears to initialise and Home fine. When you try to control it manually, small X,Y & Z movements all seem fine. If you try to send it to a specific location it moves and then shows a 20000 error. 'An internal error has occurred' 'wait for moved failed'. It then needs to re-home again.

We cannot find any info for this error, but it does it every single time.

The unit powered up and was tested with a digital thermometer (not included).

We are unable to test the system further due to the following error:

"EPPA : SAFETY SHUTDOWN "

A safety shutdown can occur when:

1. There is a leak in the system (see Pressure control problems). This

includes missing septa or columns!

2. The column is not restrictive enough to reach desired pressure (i.e.,

using pressure programming, this may occur during a pressure ramp

to too high a pressure.

3. There is insufficient supply pressure.

4. Configuration is set wrong. Check the mode switch on the inlet

controller board (see Proper configuration).

Therefore this item is sold as Spares or Repairs.
