This Night Owl EG&G Berthold Molecular Light Manager was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The item powers on and is in a reasonably good used cosmetic condition but one of the connection ports on the back is damaged.

The UV Light works and white light can be seen powered on through the back. There is a bag of loose parts inside.

Internal dimensions - D36.5 W52 H46cm

The lab said it wasn't working but didn't give any more details. We assume it is down to the damaged connection port.

The system is in good cosmetic condition but has some minor marks from use.

Beckman Gold HPLC System Programable Solvent Module & 168 Diode Detect Array Pro

This system was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

The system powers on but has functional issues as described below. Initially, the solvent pump displayed the message: "System is now under control of System Gold". During further testing, the solvent pump experienced further issues after approximately one hour of operation. The screen went blank, the display lights (COM, CPU, PS, and solvent selector A1 and B1) turned off, and the module ceased to function despite the power supply and fans working.

All included units are in reasonably good cosmetic condition, however the casing of the Beckman System Gold Programmable Solvent Module Pro has cracked as displayed.

Due to the faults experienced during testing, and the cosmetic condition, this system is listed as Spares/Repair.

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit was working previously but has been damaged. The internal furnace section has dropped onto the circuit board underneath and the ceramic bushes/mounts have all broken.

The system is made up of;

1 x Eltra Carbon Sulfur Determinator

The unit powers on and is in good cosmetic condition. All buttons appear to be in working condition.

The main display on the unit was in German and we were unable to explore the options further.

1 x Eltra High-Temperature Furnace

HTF 5 40

The unit powers on and is in good cosmetic condition. We tested the furnace at different temperatures.

Set temp at 500ºC, and the temperature settled at 521ºC

Set temp at 750ºC, and the temperature settled at 750ºC

Set temp at 1000ºC, and the temperature settled at 987ºC

Set temp at 1544ºC, and the temperature settled at 1542ºC

The furnace tube size is 29.36mmin diameter
