These items have undergone varying levels of testing - it is likely that some will be spares / repairs, but we anticipate that a reasonable amount should operate well.

None of these items have been PAT or electrical safety tested. For this reason we have marked these as spares/repairs as they should not be used without appropriate electrical safety checks.

They are sold as a spares/repairs bundle intended to be purchased by someone who has time to test and where necessary refurbish the unit. It is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to benefit for individual equipment resale.

The units have not been tested at all.

It powers on, however upon start-up, the system triggered a “TOO HI COND / 3' STAND BY” error and entered a delay period before attempting operation.

During testing, the condenser fan produced a clicking noise and operated intermittently, running sporadically before stopping again. The system subsequently displayed “WRONG ROTATION / EVAP TEMP” and “NO WATER” fault codes, despite a confirmed water supply.

A power cycle was carried out, after which the unit was able to produce ice; however, the fault codes remained active and the ice produced was discoloured.

Due to these issues, the unit is being sold as spares or repair

The unit is in good cosmetic condition, however, it failed PAT testing due to a loose power switch which can be pulled out from its housing.

The previous owner also advised that while the chamber holds vacuum, the system barely registers on the Pirani gauge and does not achieve the expected vacuum level (e.g. 10⁻² mbar). This may indicate a potential internal air leak.

Due to these issues, the unit has not been tested further at our facility.
