ProBike Fuchs BEI261 Motorbike Dynamometer (Dyno) w/ Fuchs Dyno software

This system was removed from a facility where it was surplus to requirements.

The previous owner stated that the unit is a motorcycle dynamometer in nearly new condition and almost unused. They also advised that the software is out of date, but that the system is otherwise working.

Cosmetically, we would describe the overall condition as good, with some signs of use and light rusting present, which is to be expected given the nature of the equipment. The unit is split down and palletised and, as such, we were unable to test the dynamometer as a complete system. However, the Hydrovane pump was able to be powered on and has passed PAT testing.

For reference, ProBike state that they offer upgrade and installation packages for Fuchs BEI261 dynamometers, including hardware/software upgrades and support for reinstallations, updates and spare parts.

The system comprises an Agilent 6530 Accurate-Mass Q-TOF LC/MS coupled with five Agilent 1290 Infinity units, forming a complete LC/MS platform suitable for high-resolution accurate-mass analysis and UHPLC separations. The client has supplied extensive photographs and videos of the full configuration, including documentation and supporting accessories.

It was reportedly barely used, and the client has since tested the system, confirming that all components power on and the system appears to operate as expected.

1958 Commer Karrier Gamecock Fire Engine Food Truck Conversion

The vehicle is a non-runner and has been parked up for the last 24 months. It has been converted into a food truck and is installed with a pizza oven and other catering equipment.

Details on the issues are listed below;

• Issue: A valve failure has occurred due to a gas conversion that was done on this truck. The gas conversion was not in use but remained connected to the combustion chamber, leading to the valve failure.

• Actions if Required: Repair of the valve train and removal of gas conversion, these vehicles were not made for such conversions. It would require a new head gasket and accessories to go along with the head removal and replace affected valves without a full inspection to the engine I think that the minimal requirement to have a running truck again. These kind of repairs can only be carried out by a specialist.

Pizza oven dimensions are:

Opening is 53cm x Internal Width is 100cm x Depth is 120cm x Opening Height is 26cm.

The water urn wiring has been disconnected from the unit, as has the water bath.

Rigaku X-ray Diffractometer (XRD) Ultima III

This system was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The system is in reasonable used cosmetic condition. It has not been powered on at our site due to our on-site risk assessments surrounded X-Rays.

The unit was working when put into storage in 2018.

ATV PEO-604 Thermal Oxidation Furnace , Chiller & Laptop (Serviced Aug 2024)

This equipment is being offered on behalf of our client, Adaptix Ltd, following the closure of cleanroom facilities at the Harwell Campus (November 2024).

The ATV PEO-604 is a high-temperature thermal oxidation furnace designed for semiconductor wafer processing, supporting both dry and wet oxidation processes. The system is currently configured for 4” (100 mm) wafers and can be upgraded to accommodate up to 6” wafers with replacement quartzware. The furnace includes a water bubbler system for steam generation and offers a maximum operating temperature of 1100°C.

The system was commissioned in April 2023 and was last used in September 2024. The client has confirmed the instrument was in good working condition at the time the cleanroom closed. It subsequently underwent annual service and calibration on 29/08/2024. Following decommissioning, fragile components and quartzware were professionally removed by the vendor for safe relocation and are securely packed.

Nikon Eclipse Ti-E Motorised Inverted Microscope System

This system was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

All components are in good used cosmetic condition.

The system was set up and powered on successfully, excluding the laser components. The microscope connects reliably to the PC and is fully controllable via the installed Nikon NIS Elements software.

The Andor camera appears highly sensitive to the microscope’s halogen lamp. While all core features function correctly and there are no clear faults.

The previous owner stated it was in working order prior to decommissioning in 2022.
