The item is in reasonable cosmetic condition but has plenty of marks from use and age.

The item powered on fine and we could interact with the control panel without issue. We attempted to run a test print and were met with Error 3800. We are told this is due to the O2 requirement and is not a fault with the system.

The system was serviced in 2020 not long before it came to us.

We were unable to test it further.

This system was removed from a laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

Due to limitations with testing Class 3+ lasers at our facility, we were unable to carry out full functionality testing on the EnVision instrument and therefore it has not been powered on or tested by us.

However, the supplied PC system is  fully operational and has been verified to connect to the EnVision 2104, with screenshots provided showing the software running.

It is in good cosmetic condition.

Important: This unit currently has shipping bolts fitted to protect the instrument during transport. These must be removed prior to use. (Replacement bolts have been fitted using best available equivalents, as the original supplied bolts were not available.)

Please also note: The supplied RS232 comms cable must be connected to the PCI card RS232 socket, not the built-in Dell RS232 port.

The facility was commissioned in 1999 by Lola Cars to deliver advanced aerodynamic testing for race and road cars. It has an extensive history of use by leading motorsport and automotive brands including Mazda, Toyota F1, Aston Martin, Bentley, MG (Le Mans Car) and Scania Trucks. Typical rental rates for external users have been around £7,000 per day.

A major upgrade project was completed between late 2023 and mid-2024, bringing the wind tunnel to the very latest standards of aerodynamic testing. The Waters ACQUITY UPC2 System (UltraPerformance Convergence Chromatography™) combines the separation power of supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) with Waters’ proven UPLC technology. Using compressed liquid CO₂ as the primary mobile phase, the system enables precise modulation of pressure, mobile phase strength, and temperature.

This allows for exceptional control of analyte retention and improved resolution for challenging structural analogs, isomers, and enantiomers.

AID iSpot ELR08IFL with AID Fluorescent Lamp

This item was removed from a facility where it was surplus to requirement.

The iSpot unit powers on via an in-house 24V PSU (not included). The accompanying AID Fluorescent Lamp powers on via a standard IEC cable.

The lamp's run-time counter displays 0-00, which is likely due to a reset. A light pipe connects the main unit to the lamp, and USB and comms cables are fitted to the rear, indicating that a PC connection may be required for full operation.

Both units are in reasonable, used cosmetic condition.

S plus B Custom Chemical Delivery Gantry System Petrochemical Gasses

This system is being sold on behalf of a client where it is surplus to requirement.

The custom-built S plus B gantry was originally designed for the delivery of petrochemical gases from a wall-mounted cylinder rack to a series of modular desks. The system features a precision-engineered overhead gantry with multiple stainless steel lines and a collection of high-quality, unused valves and fittings.

It was installed but never used, remaining in pristine condition.

Telstar BioULTRA Class II Microbiological Safety Cabinet

This item was removed from a university where it was surplus to requirements.

It is in good cosmetic condition.

The cabinet is nearly fully operational, with one noted issue:

When moving from the fully closed position, pressing the work height button causes the sash to fully open first, before returning down to the correct working height.

The internal sockets are Euro type. These have been tested using a Euro IEC cable and multimeter, and both sockets are confirmed to be working.

Zeiss Axiovert 200M Confocal Microscope System with LSM510 META & Multi-Laser Setup

This system was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

The previous owner confirmed it was in good working condition prior to removal.

The microscope connects to the PC and communicates successfully. The Meta software displays CAN errors on startup, which appear to be due to the lasers not being connected. Further testing was not possible without the lasers, but all indications suggest the system is otherwise functioning as intended.

Eppendorf ThermoStat C with Heating Block Attachments

This item is sold on behalf of a client where it is surplus to requirements.

This item provides precise temperature control for biological reactions and sample preparation, with a temperature range from –10°C to 110°C. It includes 15 programmable memory slots and up to 4 programmable steps per protocol.

The unit was recently PAT-tested (December 2024).

It is in perfectly good working order. There are some cosmetic defects, primarily on the ThermoStat C itself and the ThermoTop cover block (please see pictures).

The ThermoStat C was in use in an industry laboratory up until June 2025 and was removed during a lab shutdown.

This item is sold on behalf of a client where it is surplus to requirements.

Purchased new from Waters in June 2023, the system was used for approximately 6 months and remains in excellent cosmetic and working condition.

It was maintained under a service contract with Waters, with the most recent preventative maintenance carried out on 29/05/2024.

The system was operated in combination with a mass spectrometer and therefore does not include a standalone PC or software, though installation disks for system drivers and documentation are provided.

A selection of original accessories is included, such as spare tubing, cables, adapters, and fittings.
