The system is made up of;

The unit powers on and is in good cosmetic condition. The unit made a noise when it was switched on and it made a different noise when the 'clean' button was pushed. The water condensers inside the unit are in good cosmetic condition and the glass boilers are in reasonable condition. There looks to be some residue inside. it was not tested further.

It is in good cosmetic condition but was not tested. There is some chipped paint and surface rust along the bottom LHS of the unit from general use.

It is in good cosmetic condition but was not tested. There is a 2 core cable, which we suspect should either have a 1/4" jack plug on it or a DIN plug.

This Denley Refrigerated Laboratory Centrifuge Model BR401 was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit powers on and appears to be in full working order. It ran up to the max of 2000rpm and was tested with a digital thermometer (not included).

When set at 4ºC our thermometer measured 8.6ºC

We believe the slight variation is due to the positioning of our external probe, whereby the internal probe is fixed under the rotor, hence showing a lower temp. We have reason to believe the units cooling function works.

When set at -30ºC our thermometer measured -12.2ºC. We believe this is the lowest this model is meant to achieve.

It is in good cosmetic condition with some marks from use.

The units are in good cosmetic condition but all have scuff marks from general use. The locking mechanisms to extend and contract the legs of the tripod are in working order.

The units all come with a strap and clip to hold the legs closed when in storage or transit. They all have a standard thread for surveying tripods.

All of the bullseye spirit level vials are intact and all the metal studs in the feet are intact.
