The item is in reasonable cosmetic condition. There are stains on the top of the lid and by the LCD display. The right hinge has broken on the inside, which causes that section to not sit flat.

The rubber seal around the heat block has broken and can come loose. This doesn't seem to affect its ability to retain heat. The 24x well block fits 0.1ml test vials.

The item powered on without issue. It was tested with a digital thermometer (not included).

When set to 37 the thermometer measured 36.7˚C.

When set to the max of 100 the thermometer measured 100.0˚C.

The heated lid works as intended.

This Stem Corporation Block Heater & Chiller Model - RS2550 was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The heater powers up and has been tested with a digital thermometer (not included).

When set to 37˚C the display showed 37˚C and the thermometer measured 36.2˚C.

When set to 55˚C (max) the display showed 57˚C and the thermometer measured 53˚C.

We were unable to test the shiller as we don't have the connecting cable.

The magnetic stirrer seems to be working well.

This UVP Sterilaire UV PCR Workstation was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit powers up but only the white light works. We couldn't get the UV lights to work. There is one large crack in particular on the right-hand side at the front.

The item is in a reasonable used cosmetic condition but the perspex has a lot of cracks.
