Major Science Gel Dryer Model - MG-2131 Lab

This Major Science Gel Dryer Model - MG-2131 was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The item powers on and was tested with a digital thermometer (not included).

The temperature was first set to 37˚c, which it reached quickly (thermometer read 37.9˚c)

The temperature was then set to its maximum of 100˚c but it would only go up to around 80˚c then drop back down a few degrees and fluctuate, the maximum thermometer reading was 83˚c.

The item is in a reasonable, used cosmetic condition.

The unit powers up and has been tested with 5% CO2 and measured with a digital thermometer (not included).

It was set to 37˚C which it reached in 2 hours. It was then set to 50˚C which took a further hour to reach.

The digital thermometer was consistent with the readings on the display.

The plastic door handle has snapped but that doesn't seem to affect the operation of the unit at all.

The unit powers up and has been tested with a digital thermometer (not included0. It was first set to 37˚C which it reached after about half an hour. It was then set to the max of 50˚C which it reached after about 2 hours. Our thermometer measures the temperature at 59˚C. It was not tested with water or CO2.

It is in reasonable cosmetic condition but has plenty of marks and stains from use.
